Volunteering in Asia

Our volunteering programmes work with a number of NGOs and charity projects across Asia. You could be working with our amazing partners at small, local organisations, schools for the disadvantaged, minority communities, animal sanctuaries, organic farms or a whole host of other important and exciting sites. Wherever you go, we will do our utmost to give you the best volunteering experience in Asia at the lowest cost.

As a volunteer, you will be expected to support your placement organization by assisting with daily tasks and projects. The time commitment varies from country to country and site to site, but will generally be much lower than for an internship. This will give you more time to explore the local area, make friends and experience all that Asia has to offer.

Flexibility and an open mind will be required for participation in our volunteering programmes. NGOs and charities do not have the resources to organise their placements in the same way as professional corporations, so be prepared for a wide variety of tasks as well as basic accommodation.

Panda Volunteering in China

Locations: Sichuan, China

Programs: One Week / Two Weeks Panda Volunteering

Start dates: 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month

Elephant Conservation & Eco Experience in Laos

Locations: Luang Prabang

​

Programs: 7 days Asia Elephants Conservation & Eco Experience 

​

Start date: Every Monday (arrive Luang Prabang before Monday)

Locations: Phnom Penh, Siem Reap

 

Programs: Working in school/childcare / Teaching English to Buddhist Monks / NGO Support / Medical and Health

Start date: every Monday (arrive before Monday)

​

Locations: Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai 

 

Programs: Teaching English / Outdoors / NGO Support / Minority Culture Experience

Locations: Hanoi, Saigon, other provinces of Vietnam

Programs: 

Short-term Volunteering Camps  (schools, hospitals, minority villages, youth centers and so on)

Long-term Volunteering Projects  (teaching, NGO support, environment conservation)

Locations: Kathmandu and its surrounding areas

Programs: Teaching / Health and Medical / Women’s Empowerment /  Outdoor Repair work...
