The organisation’s principle objective is the empowerment of marginalised rural communities, with a focus on those most marginalised; women and children. Its work is based on the foundations of health, education, economic tools and the provision of basic infrastructure. On these foundations we can build an empowered and independent community.
The intern will help to maximise awareness of the organisation’s programs through social media and more traditional mediums, review existing marketing plans, conduct market research, generate new ideas and have input into the marketing strategy. The person must be motivated and has excellent written and communication skills and preferably some prior experience as a marketing advisor.
Your experience as a Marketing Advisor
A bright and enthusiastic individual interested the marketing function of an international charity, discovering a unique culture, and traveling abroad.
In this role you will provide valuable administrative support to a small, dynamic team and will be comfortable carrying out routine tasks individually or as part of a team. There will also be the opportunity to create new marketing projects to improve the organisation’s visibility abroad.
