Asia Internship - Culture Immersion Programs in Asia

I’m Libby, I'm from New Zealand and I’m studying Agricultural Science. 

My experience with Asia Internship was fantastic, from the moment you get off the plane you are welcomed by the awesome team! The daunting feeling of being in a city with millions of people soon goes away after being given a tour of the city by some friendly Chinese university students.

I interned in a company in Chengdu that specialises in agricultural drones, it gave me a really great insight on where the agricultural industry could end up in the future and I learnt so much about this truly amazing technology during my month in China. The Asia internship team were very supportive during my time in China and even organised for me to stay and help on an organic farm for a few days. The team really become your friends and my time in China wouldn’t have been the same without them.

Chengdu was an amazing city to live in, there is so much to see and do and coming from such a small town in New Zealand it was a real eye opener. I was lucky that during my month in China I managed to see some of the other parts of the country, Xian to see the terracotta warrior’s and Shanghai. China is a remarkable country and I would recommend anyone considering an internship to do it as it is truly a once in a lifetime experience.
