Asia Internship - Culture Immersion Programs in Asia

Hello, I am Coen I have just graduated for my Nurse degree. while I was still in college I got the opportunity to go for an overseas internship and that landed me in Chengdu, China.

The host clinic  gave me a lot of opportunities to learn about the Chinese healthcare system which is so different from European countries. It taught me various new ways to perform medical treatments. The skills they touched me will come in very handy in my future career. Together with the colleagues we made a lot of fun and talked a lot about the differences between the Netherlands and China.

 

While I was in Chengdu I met some very friendly people, we had a lot of fun and great adventures in various places, like Leshan to see the world biggest Buddha statue and mt. Emei, these are great places outside Chengdu to visit. We also were looking for a bigger adventure into Tibet, which is a great place if you want to escape the busy city life.

 

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am happy I took it with both hands. Of course I could tell you everything I came across while I was in Chengdu but, I would like you to explore this wonderful place by your self and have a great time with Asia Internship.
